Fight Performer
A passion of mine is blending my 15+ years of training in American Kempo martial arts with my love of acting and theatrical storytelling in the format of fight performance and fight directing.
At USC, I've been able to train in the art of stage combat (both hand to hand and various weapon disciplines) and merge that with Kempo to create fight performances for storytelling.
I've had the opportunity to assistant fight direct under my mentor Edgar Landa, as well as direct projects of my own.

Weapons for stage combat
At USC, I've been able to train in various weapon disciplines for stage combat such as rapier, broadsword, shortsword, and more. Check out this clip from one of the fight calls for Troilus and Cressida... here you'll see one of our various fight sequences from the final battle in the fifth act.
SAFD - Certified
By spending much time studying under fight masters and certified teachers of the Society of American Fight Directors, I passed the skills proficiency test in Rapier & Dagger and have subsequently been certified as an SAFD actor combatant in that weapon discipline.
